He sat on a mossy log, sighing. 'I just want a hug,' he whispered. A wise ladybug named Lujain landed on his nose. 'Hani, don't lose hope,' she said. 'Not everyone has soft skin. There are creatures in the forest who have sturdy armor just like you.' Hani decided to search the forest. He met Bashar the beaver, but Bashar was too soft. He met Sammy the squirrel, but Sammy was too fluffy.
Finally, near the sunlit pond, Hani met Talal the turtle. Talal was slowly munching on clover. Hani approached cautiously. 'Hello, Talal,' he said. 'Would you... would you like a hug?' Talal looked at Hani's quills, then smiled. 'I would love a hug, Hani! My shell is hard and strong. Your quills won't hurt me at all.'
Hani stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Talal's sturdy shell. It was a perfect hug. Talal felt the warm friendship, and Hani felt safe and happy. From that day on, Hani and Talal were best friends, always sharing hugs and showing the forest that true friendship could overcome any prickly situation.
