The Sleepy Star's Journey Home
π
Bedtime Stories
Tala opened her eyes and realized she was far from home. She was too tired to fly back up. A gentle night owl named Badr flew down. 'Don't worry, little star,' Badr whispered. He called the night winds, who came blowing gently. The winds lifted Tala in a soft cushion of air, carrying her slowly up past the mountain peaks.
As they rose, the fireflies of the forest flew alongside them, forming a sparkling ladder of light. Tala felt safe and warm. With a gentle push from the night breeze, she was placed back into her cozy spot in the sky. She sparkled a soft, warm thank-you, closed her eyes, and drifted into a sweet sleep, happy to be back home.
