Sammy was a fluffy red squirrel with a big tail and a very bad memory. Every autumn, he buried hundreds of acorns in the forest floor to prepare for winter. But by the time the first snow fell, Sammy couldn't remember where he had hidden a single one. He stood under a oak tree, scratching his furry head in confusion, his stomach rumbling loudly.

Determined to help, his friend Bayan the blue jay flew down. 'Don't worry, Sammy! We will search together,' she chirped. They asked Bashar the beaver, who was busy building his wooden dam. Bashar pointed towards the frozen pond, recalling he saw Sammy digging near a large, round grey stone. Sure enough, Sammy uncovered three big acorns there.

Next, they met Talal the turtle, who was sleeping under dry leaves. Talal opened one sleepy eye and pointed to the hollow log near the berry patch. Bit by bit, with the help of all the forest animals, Sammy found enough food to stay full and warm all winter. To thank them, Sammy shared his acorns and hosted a cozy winter feast inside his warm tree hollow.
