The Dream-Catcher's Golden Thread

Noura had a beautiful dream-catcher hanging in front of her window. It was made of willow branches and decorated with blue feathers. Her grandmother told her that the dream-catcher had a tiny, magical spider named Baraa who lived in the center. Baraa's job was to spin a web of golden threads every evening to filter out bad dreams and let only sweet dreams pass through.

One night, Noura had a scary dream about a shadow-giant. She woke up shivering. She looked at the window and saw Baraa glowing with a warm gold light. 'Don't worry, Noura,' Baraa said in a tiny voice. 'The wind was strong tonight, and a bad dream slipped past my web. Let me weave you a special shield of golden thread.'

Baraa started spinning, his golden threads glowing like tiny stars. He wove a beautiful, shimmering web that floated over Noura's bed. Noura closed her eyes, feeling the warm, soothing energy of the golden thread. She drifted back to sleep, dreaming of flying on a friendly cloud. When she woke up, Baraa was resting in the center of his web, ready for another night of sweet dreams.
