Laith found an old, heavy pocket watch in his grandfather's workshop. The watch had glowing gears and a small lever on the side labeled '5 MIN'. Curiously, Laith pulled the lever. The world around him froze. A falling drop of water hung in the air like a crystal bead, and a flying bird stopped mid-flap. Laith realized he had paused time for exactly 5 minutes.

He decided to use this magical time to help his village. First, he saw a toddler about to trip over a rock and move it out of the way. Next, he noticed a cat falling from a fence and placed a soft cushion beneath it. Finally, he saw a delivery worker dropping a stack of books and caught them before they hit the ground.

When the 5 minutes ended, the world rushed back to life. The toddler walked safely, the cat landed softly on the cushion, and the worker smiled, holding his secure books. Laith realized that even a few minutes, when used with kindness and quick thinking, could make a massive difference in the world.
