Every fifty years, the legendary Rainbow Comet passed close to Earth. Scientists said the comet was made of cosmic ice crystals that split sunlight into a full spectrum of colors. Young Salma had been counting down the days on her calendar. She set up her grandfather's brass telescope on the roof, hoping to see the celestial light show.

At midnight, a streak of glowing light appeared on the horizon. The comet wasn't just white; its long tail shimmered in shades of violet, emerald green, and gold. As the comet sailed across the sky, Salma adjusted her telescope. She observed the ice particles reflecting the light, realizing that science and beauty were deeply connected.

The comet left a glowing trail of dust in the upper atmosphere that created colorful aurora lights for hours. Salma wrote down all her observations in her science journal. She realized that understanding the universe made its wonders even more beautiful, and she vowed to study astronomy to uncover more mysteries of space.
